Position Summary

The User Researcher’s responsibilities include partnering with internal departments (UX & Product Management) to collect and centralize knowledge, build and execute research plans, analyze data, and leverage contacts through networking. This role will be involved in the scientific process, ethnographic research, and will focus on qualitative over quantitative research.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive user research plans to inform product strategy and design
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points
  • Create and deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on research findings
  • Collaborate closely with design and product teams to translate research insights into product improvements
  • Assist Product Management and UX Teams to execute the most appropriate and efficient research explorations to drive product innovation
  • Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Present research findings and recommendations to leadership
Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of research methodologies (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys, A/B testing)
  • Proven track record of working with data to generate valuable insights geared toward a product development lifecycle
  • Proven ability to facilitate design thinking workshops and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Case studies where your research has impacted how & why a shipped product was designed the way it was
  • Ability to manage solo projects start-to-finish while also working in a collaborative environment maintaining open communication
  • Expertise in data analysis tools, prototyping software, and user research services

$136,000 - $158,000 a year

In addition to the above salary, this role may be eligible for a bonus.
