Responsibilities

1. Consultations with potential clients
2. Advising clients through divorces and child custody battles
3. Evaluating issues and developing strategies and arguments
4. Preparing and drafting legal documents
5. Court filings and appearances
6. Settlement negotiations
7. Billable benchmark of approximately 1350 hours per year to allow for work-life balance, community involvement, and networking for business development

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of experience practicing family law
2. Licensed and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar
3. Authentic desire to advocate for clients
4. Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
5. Excited about personal and business growth opportunities
6. Progressive thinker and problem solver who works well with anyone; ego does not get in the way of relationships with clients, colleagues, or judicial representatives

Compensation

Total compensation between $80k to $115k.
