About the Role

As a Network Administrator at Anatomage, you will work to improve and support the company's IT infrastructure. You will provide technical support to all levels of faculty. You will be an integral part of the IT team, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The position is full-time, on-site, and based at our HQ in Santa Clara, CA.

The ideal candidate should have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in IT systems management and user support, particularly in an SMB context. The role demands a professional who possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills, essential for effectively interacting with and supporting various organizational levels.

What You’ll Do

  1. Work on projects to improve the IT infrastructure
  2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  3. Monitor network performance to ensure network availability to all system users
  4. Monitor and maintain network security systems including surveillance, access control, and other monitoring and reporting systems
  5. Monitor and maintain data backup system
  6. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on all network computer systems
  7. Maintain network security through appropriate access controls, backups, and firewall policies
  8. Manage security measures to detect and prevent system interruptions and breaches
  9. Manage IT inventory
  10. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in computer and network technologies
  11. Document all technical procedures and user guides
  12. Provide technical support and assistance to users of the network
  13. Other job-related duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Required

  1. Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
  2. Solid understanding of network protocols, topologies, and infrastructure
  3. Experience with network management tools and software
  4. Familiarity with network security practices and procedures
  5. Solid experience with enterprise switches and firewalls
  6. Basic experience with administering Windows domain network
  7. Basic experience with cloud computing such as AWS or Azure
  8. Basic experience with Hyper-V and VMware
  9. Experience working in data center

Minimum Education and Experience Required

  1. Minimum associate degree in network/systems administration or related fields
  2. Minimum of 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in network administration or related fields

Certifications:

  1. Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP) preferred
  2. Cloud infrastructure certifications preferred (AWS, GOOGLE, AZURE)
  3. Microsoft Certified System Engineer or Solutions Expert (MCSE) preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry computer equipment.
