About The Team: Join the FIS Platforms team as a Principal Product Manager (Sr. Director) to help build and launch our next generation Embedded Finance Platform capabilities, focusing on card program management. Our vision for the Embedded Finance (EF) team is to enable our customers to easily embed a robust suite of financial capabilities into their products and services, so they can satisfy their customer needs, business goals and differentiate themselves from their competitors.

The EF Platform will offer services delivered via a modern tech stack and orchestration to expose product capabilities in a seamless no-code/ low-code way. We will also provide best-in-class program management capabilities for our customers. We operate like an incubated startup within FIS, with the full support of the company and a mandate to create a world-class embedded finance platform. This is a fast-paced and fun group that believes strongly in putting the user first and working backward from customer obsession and setting a high bar for everything we ship. You will be a key single threaded product leader in our product group, focusing on program management tooling that builds trust between our brands and banks. Beyond this, you will help shape the product culture and work hand in hand with design, engineering, and others to launch and ship high-quality products to our customers and users.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute the strategic vision for their product portfolio, aligning with overall business objectives, customer problems, and market trends.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership, clarity in vision and direction to cross-functional teams, and adjacent product management teams. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Innovation: Drive product innovation via an experiment-based culture by identifying market opportunities, leveraging customer feedback, and staying at the forefront of industry trends.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate effectively with teams across the organization.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data, metrics, experimentation, analytics to make informed decisions, track product and customer performance, and identify areas for improvement and pivot.
  • Product Lifecycle and Performance Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, to product and portfolio roadmaps and continually optimize based on customer needs and feedback, towards business goals such as adoption, growth, engagement, retention or pivot points.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships that enhance the product and contribute to the overall success of the business.
  • Go-to-Market: Lead GTM strategy and implementation including collaboration with all internal GTM teams on pricing, distribution and marketing plans. Leads client engagements during business reviews, prospect briefings, and internal group meetings.

What You Will Need:

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, with a focus on leading successful product initiatives in innovative, ambiguous, complex or fast-moving environments.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree (Master's or MBA) is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
  • Innovative Mindset: A track record of innovation, creativity, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Results-Oriented: Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What We Offer You: A career at FIS is more than just a job. It's the change to shape the future of fintech.
