Job Summary
Provides customer service by selling, servicing and delivering products for manufacturer to business and industrial establishments.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive sales orders from Customers and schedule sales calls to deliver products ordered.
  • Solicit sales orders to prospective customers on routine visits.
  • Communicating completed sales invoices to the Corporate office on a daily basis.
  • Performs daily inspections of the delivery vehicle; ensures all maintenance and safety requirements are met.
  • Performs weekly inspections of product inventory to ensure no inventory discrepancies.
  • Delivery vehicle is well maintained with merchandise in order to avoid back-orders.
  • Communicate daily activities to Supervisor before the end of the workday.
  • Introduces products using samples.
  • Assists in reviewing sales reports.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems including payment issues.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisor.
  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday from 7:00AM-4:30PM
  • Travel to MA/RI/ME/NH
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • 1-2 years' experience in a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to move and lift 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Current driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently
Education & Experience
  • 1-2 years' sales experience
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
