Overview
MB2 Dental, a first-of-its-kind Dental Partnership Organization (DPO) founded in 2007 and based in Carrollton, TX, is actively hiring an Events Coordinator! This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly collaborative team while independently managing multiple job tasks and responsibilities.
The Events Coordinator, reporting to the Vice President of Central Operations, is responsible for supporting Event Managers in their project management and execution of MB2 Events in partnership with MB2 departments, executives, and vendors. The Events Team project manages and executes events, including owner engagement, employee engagement, brand awareness, recruiting, and business development.

Responsibilities
  • Researching and booking venues and entertainment
  • Coordinating event logistics, including transportation, event invites and RSVPs and communications.
  • Managing communications with vendors to ensure events meet company standards
  • Developing event proposals to Event Managers and leadership
  • Onsite event support (set up and breakdown)
  • Maintain event budgets
  • Maintain project management tools with event updates
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as an Events Coordinator is required
  • Extremely organized and able to work amongst multiple platforms, including intranet, MS Office, and project management software
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to effectively manage time, work amongst multiple departments, and be accountable to deadlines
  • Ability to work 25-28 hours per week from the MB2 main office and attend events, as needed, that may be nights and/or weekends and will require periodic travel
  • Ability to work independently, in a group setting, and one-on-one
