Director/Product/Test Engineering; High Speed Analog ICs
We are working on behalf of a leading chip maker in the area of High Speed Analog Driver ICs for Optical Data Center Applications.
Their products include TIAs, CDRs, Equalizers, and other High Speed ICs, which are sold to makers of Optical Modules, Transceivers, and Optical Systems. They are in some very hot niches like PAM4 and Coherent technology, and the Optical Business Unit has doubled sales in the last two years.
They are looking for a Director of Test/Product Engineering .
This will be a hands-on manager who runs a group of 6-8 engineers focused on testing high speed analog ICs, data analysis, driving designs into production, and using statistical tools to predict and drive improvement of yields.
We need a BSEE or higher degree with strong test skills, including using BERTs, performing RF testing, measuring jitter, and analyzing eye diagrams. Experience with TIAs, drivers, CDRs, and other blocks is required. Familiarity with high speed protocols like PAM4 is also necessary.
Strong leadership skills, if not actual management background, are also required.
