Center Director

As a Center Director, you will play a key role in fostering the growth and development of both children and teachers, creating a collaborative and thriving learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, schedule, and interview potential teacher candidates while building a pipeline of future talent.
  • Conduct classroom observations and evaluations, providing motivating feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Lead your team to ensure the TLE curriculum is executed with excellence and adheres to brand standards.
  • Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop staff for long-term success.
  • Address employee concerns with an objective approach and create action plans as needed.
  • Build and manage weekly schedules to maintain optimal classroom ratios.
  • Oversee the completion of new hire paperwork and ensure employee files comply with state licensing regulations.
  • Strategically manage labor and scheduling to ensure appropriate ratios are maintained while staying within budget.

Customer Focus:

  • Lead tours for prospective families, showcasing the unique aspects of our curriculum, teacher quality, and center environment.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and ensure exceptional parent experiences.
  • Execute key events like "Show and Tell" and other family engagement activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and files for students and staff in compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
  • Ensure the physical environment and health/safety standards meet all licensing requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with state licensors and oversee center evaluations and compliance.
  • Manage incident reporting, medication administration, and conduct monthly safety drills.
  • Oversee the administration of new customer files to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of center leadership or management experience (two or more years preferred).
  • Professional teaching experience with infants to preschool-aged children is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of state licensing regulations.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification is highly preferred.
  • Must meet state-specific qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 per year
