Position Overview:
A prominent organization in the entertainment industry is seeking a professional, outgoing, and energetic Call Center Representative to join their high-volume Participant Services Center. This temp-to-hire role is ideal for a customer service-oriented individual with experience in health and pension plan benefits, who can communicate complex plan policies in simple, easy-to-understand terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls and emails related to benefits, eligibility, claims, pension, premium payments, and other related topics.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of participant interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing participant concerns promptly and effectively.
- Meet established call center performance metrics to support departmental and company goals.
- Ensure consistent and punctual attendance, maintaining a reliable presence in the workplace.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefit plan administration and customer service in a high call volume environment.
- Preferred experience with Taft-Hartley, pension, and health plan benefits knowledge.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality, with the flexibility to work overtime/extended hours as needed.
- Proficient in PC skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint, with familiarity with CRM systems.
- Typing skills of 45 words per minute, with preferred 10-key skills by touch.
Additional Information:
Candidates must be comfortable working on-site every day in Studio City, CA. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
