Job Description:
The Human Resources Manager will lead a small HR team and oversee a range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. This position reports directly to the VP of HR & Operations and plays a critical role in ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 3-4 HR professionals.
- Oversee recruitment and employee relations for a 100+ employee organization.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Manage payroll, benefits, and employee development programs.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic HR initiatives, goal setting, and budgeting.
- Support employees throughout the entire lifecycle, from hiring to offboarding.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- At least 5 years of HR experience, with 2-3 years leading an HR team.
- Experience in non-profit or philanthropy is a plus.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in HRIS/HCM systems; experience with Paycor is beneficial.
Additional Details:
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
- Start Date: Projected for 8/12.
- Offers contingent upon passing a background check (criminal history, last 10 years).
- Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
