Field Engineer - Advanced Technologies

Position Overview

As a Field Engineer II, you will be responsible for leading health and safety initiatives, ensuring high-quality reporting and workmanship, and overseeing the completion of engineering work in a professional and ethical manner. Reporting to the Project Manager, your duties will include contract administration, project planning and scheduling, and advisory support for contractual and legal issues. This role requires working on major construction projects in various locations across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpreting drawings and specifications, performing quantity calculations, and preparing work plans
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews and supervise field operations
• Perform material takeoffs, support field operations, and provide subcontractor supervision
• Support estimating activities by analyzing historical data, plan and specification reviews, and completing material and quantity takeoffs

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of professional experience in construction
• Ability to travel and relocate as required
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
