SLG Kegspediter Team Lead

Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for daily operations of Kegspediter services including collection, return, and export of empty kegs.
- Network planning and optimization.
- Proactive resolution to risks or issues with service.
- Ensure achievement of critical KPIs essential for healthy operations, e.g., Transport Cost per Keg, On-Time Performance, Load Cube, Warehouse Inventory Levels, etc.
- Responsible for accurate and timely close activities.
- Build relationship of trust and respect within the team by listening to their concerns and understanding their needs.
- Build skills and confidence within the team through effective delegation and stretch assignments.
- Motivate the team to successful accomplishment of goals through celebrated wins, empowerment, accountability, and positive reinforcements.
- Build relationship with customer to understand their needs and develop solutions.
- Build relationships with suppliers/vendors to enhance operations.
- Creates new processes and procedures for operations based on new services enabled.
- Manage customer service-related issues including inquiries for information.
- Certain solutions may require analyzing complex issues, understanding the end goal, and developing a project plan to meet that goal.
- Candidate will work across a matrix organization to get project results in a collaborative and efficient manner.
- Ensure compliance with world-class transportation and warehousing safety and compliance standards.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience.
- 5+ years in supply chain management industry (warehousing, logistics, transportation, shipping) required.
- Desirable: Warehouse/fulfillment/transportation experience.
- Ability to persuade and lead, recognize and cultivate talent, and develop high-potential employees into high-performing employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%.
- Physical ability to communicate clearly and accurately; frequently move items weighing up to 75 pounds; operate a computer and other office equipment.
