You will lead in the modeling of complex pricing models, evaluate options, and aspire to be a subject matter expert in all things pricing. You will lead and contribute to strategic programs and build strategic partnerships across the company. You will;Model and evaluate company-wide pricing optionsMaintain pricing dashboard and evaluate pricing opportunitiesDesign, develop, and present company-wide pricing recommendationsPilot insightful pricing analytical efforts to uncover opportunities to improve profit in the short and long termAssist sales, marketing, product management, and finance with analyzing and interpreting financial and non-financial business metrics to create pricing plans that grow the businessBe a leading influencer to evolve the organization from cost-plus to value-based pricingBe a subject matter expert for all things related to recurring revenue, consumption pricing, and Software-as-a-service pricing, including key legal requirements and revenue recognition practices.Who You’ll Work With:You will be part of a dynamic global pricing team. In this role, you will be part of the Products organization and report directly to the VP of Pricing. Your day-to-day work will allow you to work hand in hand with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to implement and impact company performance.What Makes You a Qualified Candidate:Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or other related field of study).5+ years’ experience developing and implementing various pricing models & strategies including SaaS, recurring revenue, and consumption-based pricing within large, matrixed, and complex organizationsWhat You’ll Bring:Strong ability to develop financial models to quantify relevant costs, profitability, or pricing scenarios across offerings and marketsExperienced in developing skills in crafting and implementing various pricing models & strategies including SaaS, Recurring Revenue, consumption-based pricing, capacity utilization, and fixed/perpetual modelsUnderstanding of Cloud infrastructure and costsProcess-oriented mindset and the ability to create order from chaosResearch abilities including, qualitative, customer value research, and quantitative techniques.Familiarity with vital pricing tools – CPQ, Salesforce, Excel, Power BI, etc. to support financial modeling and data-driven decisions to identify pricing opportunities and formulate supporting business casesCollaborates enthusiastically with Finance, Product Managers, and Sales Operations teamsSolid level presentation and meeting management skillsWhy We Think You’ll Love TeradataWe prioritize a people-first culture because we know our people are at the very heart of our success.
