Job Requirements / Description

Accountability: This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and manage a list of top 75-80 accounts (Retail, Restaurant, Banking, and Healthcare focused) in the designated region to sell Havis products and custom engineering solutions.
  2. Build relationships with key contacts at assigned accounts that would purchase Havis products.
  3. Utilize tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn for business development prospecting.
  4. Leverage existing relationships from HAVIS sales team members to assist with business development at assigned accounts.
  5. Collaborate with the HAVIS Business Development Team to establish relationships with key technology partners (e.g., Verifone, Ingenico, Pax, Zebra, NCR, Toshiba, Elo, HP, Samsung) to help sell HAVIS products.
  6. Work with the HAVIS Brand Team to assemble decks and product information to provide to customers/prospects detailing HAVIS solutions.
  7. Become a product expert on HAVIS solutions within six months of the start date.
  8. Promote HAVIS product announcements and events via LinkedIn posts.
  9. Attend industry trade shows as directed by the Director of Sales.
  10. Analyze accounts using our main competitors and work to displace them from the account.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 10 years of sales experience.
  2. B.S. degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, sales, or business administration preferred.
  3. Experience in sales is a plus, but not required.
  4. Experience with CRM systems is a plus, but not required.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  6. Ability to succeed in prospecting and cold calling customers or partners to establish relationships or sell solutions.
  7. Willingness to travel at least 35% of the time.
  8. Proven success rate at levels above quotas.
