We currently have an opening in our Marketing Department for a Marketing Support Specialist.
Marketing Support Specialist - Essential Duties
The essential duties of the Marketing Support Specialist are to perform activities and duties in support of the Marketing Department including, but not limited to, managing social media sites and social media campaigns, email marketing, data entry, data management, and basic website management.
As well as, planning, designing, creating, executing, and tracking social media campaigns to support IMCO's sales through increased customer engagement. (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube & Other). Planning, designing, creating, executing, and tracking marketing campaigns to support IMCO sales.
Designing and producing email marketing campaigns suited to the needs of the business including, but not limited to, product announcements, price changes, promotional opportunities, and a variety of other situations, as necessary.
Data Entry & Data Management duties include, entering tools into database / catalog, ensuring tool data / descriptions are accurate, revising / removing tools or information as necessary
Web site management & administration duties include, maintaining Resource section, maintaining customer access requests, working with third party web contractors to maintain the overall customer experience on the IMCO website, searching for innovative ways to continue building out the website, to include adding more customer-friendly features, and maintaining search engine optimization.
Experience & Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent computer proficiency
- Ability to multi-task and reprioritize as the need arises
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service to employees of IMCO Carbide Tool Inc.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Ability to learn new concepts, requirements, skills, mandates, etc. as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree preferred
This position requires the ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. This position requires regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Other requirements are:
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on a telephone
- Must have flexibility of hands / fingers for data entry and other clerical duties
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Wage & Schedules
Wage will be $18 - $23 / hour, depending on knowledge and experience.
The position is primarily Monday thru Friday, 8:00a - 4:30 p.

Working Conditions:
The Marketing Support Specialist will work in a variety of settings, including the following:
An office area, with noise from telephones and other office equipment and has climate control. A warehouse area, which may have moderate noise levels and has climate control. A production area or R&D area, where there may be contact with natural oils, synthetic oils, and various grinding dusts. This area has moderate noise and has climate control. Off-site venues with varying environments and settings.
