Serving as a strategic operational resource through the usage of Crane Business system tools. Role carries direct responsibility for performing relatively complex assignments that affect business operations to a moderate degree.Essential Functions:Lead design sessions in prototyping new Business Intelligence (BI) tools for the purpose of enhancing operational processes and information process flowCollaborate in the design, development, and deployment of new BI applications and enhancements to existing applicationsAnalyze information to identify adverse trends that require corrective action and system improvementsWork with procedure and system users to provide training, solicit ideas for improvement, improve processes, implement new or revised proceduresMaintain the various Operations Bowler scorecards that monitor Safety, Quality, Development, Cost and GrowthLead Kaizen events to drive completion of solutionsAny other task assigned by supervisor or managementMinimum Qualifications:Experience: 2-5 years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing production environmentKnowledge: Working knowledge of manufacturing technologies and operational performance metrics. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the aerospace fieldSkills/Abilities: Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; effective and consistent decision-making skills; Ability to work multiple problems/issues simultaneously; Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; Demonstrated ability to perform and produce results in multifunctional teams in a dynamic work environment. Demonstrated ability to rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Education/Certification: BA or BS degree in Business or technical field or equivalent experience in an aerospace environment.Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
