Propel Schools is seeking a Varsity Cheerleading Head Coach for the 2024-2025 school year for the following locations:
- Propel Montour High School
- Propel Braddock Hills High School
- Propel Andrew Street High School
Successful candidates will have:
- Prior Varsity or Junior Varsity coaching experience
- Preferred candidates will have experience as a head coach, experience in performance and routine development, with the demonstrated ability to build a successful program at the varsity level
- Experience in supporting athletic teams during contests
- Understanding of music copyright laws
- Understanding of PIAA Competitive Spirit regulations
- Understanding of how to build school morale and school spirit
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
- A commitment to the Promising Principles of Propel
Requirements:
- Up-to-date TB Test
- Act 34 Criminal Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance
- Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
