As a Human Capital Business Partner at First Western, you will play a vital role in helping high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals. You will work closely with our Human Capital (Human Resources) team to deliver comprehensive solutions that exceed client expectations.

What You Will Do:

  1. Foster partnerships across the company to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization from the summary business plan.
  2. Guide and counsel managers on best practices, policies and regulations, to ensure compliance and appropriate handling of employee relations issues. Conduct investigations in response to concerns and recommend/implement solutions.
  3. Strategically partner with human capital and leadership team to identify themes and trends and recommend a strategy.
  4. Maintain current knowledge of and comply with applicable laws and regulations, policies and procedures.
  5. Oversee and implement human capital best practices through a targeted approach with an eye on continuous improvement, team adoption, relevance, and measurable success.
  6. Provide guidance on all aspects of talent management, including onboarding, career development, and career pathing.
  7. Assist Accounting and Payroll with approvals, timecard infractions, etc.
  8. Contribute to and own projects pertaining to all areas of human capital.
  9. Drive development, implementation, and communication of personnel policies and procedures, including maintenance of the Human Capital Connections portal.
  10. Implement and maintain First Western's Affirmative Action Plan and other similar compliance-related initiatives.
  11. Work with management on associate issues such as performance management, involuntary termination, leave of absence, ADA requests, benefits eligibility, and enrollment, etc. as well as promotions and employee recognition programs.
  12. Manage HC audits and assist external audits.
  13. Work with HC team to create and execute strategies to support a high-performing organization and positive culture.
  14. Work with the Finance team to regularly examine compensation and internal equity; propose growth opportunities for employees to plant leaders to drive internal mobility and retention.
  15. Diagnose organization issues, help to develop solutions and implement action plans.
  16. Tie recognition programs to associate management.

What You Bring:

  1. Strong client-service focus;
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills;
  3. Self-motivated, able to multi-task and accomplish goals;
  4. Excellent presentation skills;
  5. Ability to develop relationships and build trust;
  6. Exceptional knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, including Affirmative Action;
  7. Detail-oriented and organized;

Education Level:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or other related field Required

Experience Level:
3-5 years of experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational strategy, or training and development Required
1-3 years of Financial industry experience Preferred

License/Certification:
PHR or SPHR within 1 year of hire Preferred

Pay Range: $71,000 - $107,000/YR

Job Classification: Full-Time Exempt
