Azure Solutions Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Azure Solutions Architect to join our client's team in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience designing scalable, cost-effective, global cloud solutions using Azure services. This onsite position requires working closely with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to architect solutions from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design solutions compliant with the CAST model to create scalable global solutions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and target architecture as per the Design Authority process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project scope, objectives, and business value.
• Engage with external vendors to evaluate COTS solutions.
• Work with UI/UX designers, developers, and QA engineers to ensure quality and performance of IT solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to development/stable teams and act as a mentor.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect in an Azure cloud-based ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of Azure services (computing, storage, networking, security, and DevOps).
• Experience in designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures.
• Experience implementing integration patterns using Azure tools like Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of common cloud architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, serverless, API gateway).
• Proven experience creating architectural artifacts and data diagrams.
• Experience with web services, APIs, and integrating web applications with back-end systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
• MS Azure Solutions Architect certification.
• Automotive and/or financial banking industry experience.
• Experience migrating from monolithic architecture to microservices.
• Ability to identify reusable processes and techniques across multiple markets.
Primary Skills:
• Azure Solutions Architect - Must have at least an Azure Architect Associate Certification.
• Experience creating and implementing architectural artifacts and diagrams.
• Experience architecting solutions from start to finish.
• Experience migrating from monolithic architecture to microservices.
• Ability to identify reusable processes and techniques across multiple markets.
Education: Bachelors Degree
Certification: MS Azure Solutions Architect certification.
