Qualifications and Skills
- Certified as a Registered Dental Assistant or have completed an Orthodontic Assistant (OA) program
- Previous experience in Orthodontics is required
- Upbeat personality a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Attention to Detail
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations, procedures, and adjustments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Make impressions of patients' teeth for the creation of orthodontic appliances
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and care for orthodontic appliances
- Other duties as assigned
