Our mission is simple: Bridgestone Golf serves dedicated golfers with superior quality golf equipment designed to maximize individual player’s golf experience and enjoyment.Job CategoryPosition SummaryManages and coordinates activities of credit personnel engaged in telephone and e-mail support for customers, sales representatives, and consumers.ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Primary responsibility is to direct and take part in all functions of the Credit Department.Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.Motivates, mentors and manages Credit Department staff.Determines work procedures, schedules, and expedites workflow of the department.Is responsible for A/R management, unclaimed property, cash application, check disbursements, account maintenance, and reviewing on hold credit orders.Requires ability to reconcile high volume accounts.Researches and resolves problems.Directs telephone and e-mail support for customers and Territory Sales Managers.Establishes credit lines and new accounts.Process, maintain, and manage all legal accounts.Works with collectors on all past due accounts.Prepares composite reports as needed.Confers with other department managers in matters concerning joint or cooperative efforts.Provides communication link between credit operating group and company.Extends credit lines up to $25,000.00 and decides if, and type of security needed.Issues and tracks return authorizationsReviews car stock transfers and Territory Sales Manager balances.Reviews credit status for conformity to company policies.Issues oral and written instructions.Run weekly Credit hold report and distribute to Territory Sales Managers.Run Monthly A/R aging report and 2500 collector report.Complete any requests as directed by executive management related to the Credit Department.Other duties may be assigned.MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIESDirectly manages employees in the Credit Department. Carries out manager responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.ROLE SPECIFICATIONS, SKILLS, and ABILITIESSupervisory experience of at least 5 employees for more than 5 yearsMinimum of 3 Years ERP Accounting Software - SAP ByDesign is ideal.Excellent client-facing written and verbal communication skills.Expert knowledge/expertise on end-to-end business processes and software solution matching.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.Process leader: able to manage own workload without supervision.Creative thinker with good problem-solving skills.Microsoft O365 System Administration Experience and working knowledge of the suite of tools.
