Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the global community to share information and strategies.
  • Interface with vendors for EHS supplies and PPE.
  • Coordinate EHS needs with management and employees to promote a safe working culture.
  • Conduct daily safety audits and monitor site safety.
  • Report EHS information through various communication methods.
  • Schedule and facilitate monthly Safety Committee meetings.
  • Coordinate Industrial Hygiene testing and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage safety incentives, coaching, and auditing programs.
  • Maintain EHS chemical management systems and certifications.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for EHS incidents.
  • Handle all aspects of Workers’ Compensation.
  • Ensure compliance with all EHS reporting requirements.
  • Stay updated on EHS regulations and standards.
  • Create and present Safety, Health, and Environmental Training.
  • Develop and manage the EHS departmental budget.
  • Conduct required audits, drills, and activities for compliance.
  • Ensure all employees receive necessary training.
  • Operate in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies.



Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or related field preferred.
  • Professional certifications in Environmental Management or Occupational Health and Safety are a plus.
  • 3-5 years of Safety leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastics, chemical, or automotive industry.
  • Ability to work in production areas and various weather conditions.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulatory standards and policies.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
  • Willingness to travel (<25%)
