Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating education for all clinical computer applications, software programs and online documentation processes. Assists and supports all clinical care providers and staff to sustain efficient workflows and ensure patient safety by increasing overall knowledge of clinical systems, identifying problems as they arise, and facilitating resolution of problems.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of network systems
  • Three years of related clinical experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Previous Epic experience, either end user or support role
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Independent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in one-to-one and group settings
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience organizing, developing and delivering application training for all levels of staff including physicians
  • Certification in Epic
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • Ability to apply logical troubleshooting and analysis techniques for the purpose of problem resolution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
