A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Inventory Management Support .
Position type: Full-time - Contract
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
As a Inventory Management Support, you will:
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all incoming shipments, verifying merchandise, and ensuring accurate record-keeping of all received goods.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods.
- Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
- Can do basic computer skills, email, word & excel.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a receiving role or similar position. 2 to 3 years experience
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Current forklift license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and inventory software skills.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
