Job Summary

University of New Mexico - Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the General Surgery department. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
• Act as a role model and mentor to nursing staff

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Nationally accredited nursing graduate
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification
• RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement
