About the Role:
The Tactical Systems Engineer - Mid will support PEO SDA, USSOCOM Components, TSOCs, and others, providing technical and analytical mission planning, execution, and post-mission system support.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Support mission planning, execution, and post-mission system/device maintenance.
- Achieve a system/device availability of 95% and a maintenance turnaround time of less than 24 hours.
- Provide Tactical Software Support and related services.
- Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years operational experience with the assigned Component.
- Minimum of five (5) years operational experience with navigation and mission planning techniques.
- Experience with the assigned Component's tactical Standard Operating Procedures.
- Knowledgeable of assigned Components operations and tactics.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent technical training.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- None.
Other Required Skills & Abilities:
- Effective communication with customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Security Clearance:
- Secret security clearance required; eligibility for Top Secret clearance.
US Citizenship:
This position supports a U.S. Government Contract requiring U.S. Citizens.
