Job Summary:

The Director of Sales will be the face of our community representing the company brand as you educate the general community about our amazing services and amenities, partner with referral sources, and host events on site and off site.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for fulfilling leasing and move in goals.
  2. The Director of Community Relations is expected to maintain a positive image of the community with referral sources, residents, and staff personnel. They supervise the sales and marketing personnel at the community.
  3. Schedule, organize and conduct tours with prospective residents of independent and assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing.
  4. Respond and follow-up with all referral sources to include but not limited to walk-ins, phone-ins, and mail-ins timely and appropriately.
  5. Create, plan, and implement with Sales and Marketing Team and Program Director events to bring in prospective residents such as seminars, speakers, themed events, and family nights.
  6. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with residents, families, and professional providers of care.
  7. Maintain a working knowledge of all software programs.
  8. Participate in weekend call coverage in Manager Rotation.
  9. Manage move ins and move outs to achieve maximum revenue.
  10. Treat each inquiry with value.
  11. Work closely with the Executive Director and Regional Director of Sales in the development and implementation of the quarterly marketing plan.
  12. Create and implement a strong community outreach program.
  13. Media and Marketing Planning Implementation.
  14. Meet all expectations of occupancy and budget.
  15. Keep the Executive Director informed of all sales activity daily.
  16. Communicate any special needs of the incoming resident to the appropriate personnel.
  17. Assure that staff investigates every alternative before closing a lead.
  18. Keep informed of all trends, developments, concepts, and techniques in his/her field that affect the product.
  19. Understand the need of the senior and the aging process.
  20. Maintain and work an active, meaningful waitlist.
  21. Plan and implement special events monthly which prospects attend.
  22. Update competitive analysis quarterly.
  23. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information.
  24. Comply with all company policies, cities, state, and federal regulations.
  25. Interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, residents, family members, etc.
  26. Perform other related duties as assigned.
