A recognized services company in Massachusetts is currently seeking a new Director, Technical Product Owner Marketing for a promising opportunity with their growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of the product ownership of Salesforce applications related to marketing teams, along with other applications in the marketing portfolio
  • Act as the main point of contact for Salesforce marketing features and other marketing business systems, taking ownership of their development, improvement, and maintenance throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Work closely with collaborators to understand organizational needs and priorities, and effectively translate them into technology development work
  • Actively share insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments across the organization.
  • Work directly with the Engineering team to ensure solution designs meet requirements effectively
  • Lead the roadmap for the SAAS application platform, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, customer needs, and industry trends
  • Continuously evaluate and prioritize feature development and enhancement opportunities
  • Collaborate with collaborators across the organization, including marketing teams, IT, business leaders, and end-users, to gather requirements, understand challenges, and prioritize needs
  • Prioritize organizational needs and translate them into actionable technology development work
  • Break down complex requirements into user stories, define acceptance criteria, and create a product backlog
  • Work within an Agile development framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience and solid understanding of marketing functions, with a focus on marketing within a SAAS environment
  • Deep understanding of marketing functions, including knowledge of industry standards, and emerging trends in marketing technology
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing processes and functions
  • Experience with Salesforce and managing SAAS application platform roadmaps
  • Experience with Salesforce, including Marketing Cloud and related modules
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in multi-functional teams
  • Experience collaborating with business leadership to align strategy with the technology roadmap
  • Previous account or client management experience
  • Consulting experience in process optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
