Job Description :
We are seeking a Security Analyst to join our Security Operations Team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and remediating cyber incidents and vulnerabilities to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. Your expertise in networking security and system administration will be vital in enhancing our security posture
Responsibilities :
• Review and validate security procedures to ensure effective identification and classification of cyber events.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to security operations tools promptly and thoroughly.
• Identify and validate specifications for the implementation of security hardware and software, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Administer proxy servers and information systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Manage endpoint detection and response servers and agents, maintaining system effectiveness.
• Oversee the administration of intrusion protection and intrusion detection systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to stakeholders
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in IT Security.
• Proficient in Linux, Windows, and Unix operating systems.
• Experience with enterprise packet capture tools.
• Skilled in the daily administration, configuration, deployment, and architecture of security network tools and hardware.
• Knowledge of configuring and administering network taps.
• Ability to engineer rules and employ best practices for security measures.
• Familiarity with integrating threat intelligence feeds.
• Strong understanding of subnetting and networking principles
