Description
As a Services Sourcing Specialist, you will be the main liaison between internal and external stakeholders. This will include collaboration with Business Development, Engineering, Construction, Legal, Finance, suppliers, and subcontractors within the market research and buyout phases of the renewable energy projects.
The sourcing specialist will be managing the strategic sourcing, design services, and sub-consultants for new development projects, and leading cost reduction initiatives for the assigned area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic contractor relationships to support new construction projects.
- In collaboration with other project disciplines, amend and update the project procurement plan as required in changing circumstances.
- Lead bid processes, including development and issuance of RFPs, response to bidder inquiries, lead pre-bid meetings, receiving and analyzing bids, preparing commercial bid tabulations and detailed cost analysis, leading bid clarification process, and selection of successful bidders.
- Conduct contract negotiations, with assistance from Legal and interdepartmental leaders, for the establishment of contract terms or master service agreements.
- Registering vendors and monitoring the risk.
- Execute daily purchase orders in support of assigned areas of responsibility, per defined corporate strategies.

Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required,
- Experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas, or Construction sectors required.
- Field experience is a strong plus, but not required.
- Highly self-motivated with a demonstrated passion for delivering quality work and taking initiative.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively both individually and/or as part of a team
- Ambitious to continuously gain new knowledge about the supply chain, other disciplines, the company, and the market.Advanced knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in international businesses or cultures.
- Must have the ability to travel a minimum of 5% of the time.
- Have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Must have the ability to obtain a valid passport.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
