Your day as a Human Resources Generalist

As a new Human Resources Generalist at Cramer Fish Sciences, you can expect a dynamic and engaging work environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing recruitment processes, HR database management, onboarding new employees, and providing ongoing support to staff regarding HR policies and procedures. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture by organizing employee training programs. In addition, you will assist in resolving employee relations issues and implementing innovative HR initiatives that align with our company values.

Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Be prepared to collaborate with various departments, contribute to team meetings, and continually learn and adapt in this exciting role.

Requirements for this Human Resources Generalist job

To thrive as a Human Resources Generalist at Cramer Fish Sciences, candidates should possess a robust blend of skills and qualifications. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field-along with a minimum of five years of proven HR Generalist experience-is essential. Familiarity with HR software and tools will enhance your effectiveness in various administrative functions. Preferred certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP demonstrate your commitment to the HR profession and provide you with the knowledge needed to navigate complex employee situations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital for building relationships with staff and resolving issues.

COMPENSATION: Salary depending upon experience. 401 (k) has a 3% match and full vesting after one year. The annual cash bonus has a 3% target. Benefit package includes: medical, dental, vision, basic life, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance programs, PTO, paid company holidays, and other various voluntary benefits.

ESOP: CFS is a 100% employee-owned company. Our employee stock option plan (ESOP) is a qualified defined contribution plan. Our target ESOP contribution is 5%. Eligibility is after one year of service with an entry date of Jan 1 or July 1.
