Job Coach
$18.50/hour. Full Time

A Day in the Life of our Job Coach
As a job coach, you would work with a caseload of individuals who hold jobs within Norwalk and the surrounding towns by visiting them at their job sites. You provide each person with individualized support to make sure they are meeting the needs of their employer and provide assistance and feedback when needed. You would uncover the needs of the individual and assist in creating a plan they can implement while at work.
You would also play an important role in preparing individuals targeted for employment, by coaching, conducting mock interviews and breaking down the expectations the employer has for the individual. Our job coaches play a vital role in giving those we support the feeling of being included and valued within their community
Qualifications for the Job:
Schedule :
Full Time Monday-Friday: 35 hours per week; flexible hours to meet participant needs. (Half hour unpaid lunch).

Qualifications for the Job:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Access to a vehicle and an active driver's license
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
