As our Shipping and Receiving Specialist in the RSS Louisville, KY office, you will look beyond the boxes and see the processes that connect all the departments to ensure equipment is shipped efficiently and accurately. Every day you will use your exceptional communication skills to quickly change priorities and ensure up to 100 orders are pulled, packed and shipped. To thrive in this role, you must have a drive for organization and hands on experience where attention to detail was vital to your success. You will communicate with our repair team and field service team to understand equipment needs and enter detailed data in multiple software systems you might not know how to use right now. This is a physical job and you must be willing to move around a partially conditioned warehouse and be able to lift and move small items as well as items up to 50 pounds multiple times a week.
Here's What You Can Expect

  • You will be the gatekeeper for all items coming in and going out of our warehouse. All purchases, exchanges, scheduled pickups and installs going to technicians will flow through you. Accuracy is critical in ensuring the right customer receives the right part at the right time.
  • A fast pace and need to be efficient is necessary in how you work. You will use your aptitude and ability to follow detailed directions to quickly and efficiently ensure that orders are shipped as close to same day as possible.
  • You will receive in returning equipment in our software system according to a detailed process with multiple steps.
  • Pulling and staging equipment for installs. There are many parts and variations of systems. You will learn what parts go together and when a component is missing. Asking questions when something doesn't look complete is crucial.
  • Efficiently prioritizing multiple requests. You can manage a lot of contacts and steps at once. You look at many demands while shipping orders and have the experience to then say, "This is the most important thing for me to do right now."
  • Organizing and keeping the warehouse clean and inventory counts accurate. You like a clean environment and work to keep the shelves organized. You're willing to communicate with team members often discussing a situational concern and asking questions.
  • A great team that collaborates and really enjoys coming to work and doing their work together with a strong work ethic, humor and team spirit.
