The Senior Living Account Manager is responsible for driving sales of furniture products targeted at senior living facilities, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing communities. The role requires an understanding of the senior living industry, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at these facilities.


This is a full time in office position 8am- 5pm, Monday - Friday. The salary for this role is $50,000-$60,000 plus 20% Commission. This position is budgeted for a November start date.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential customers to sell Holsag, MityLite and Bertolini products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including administrators, executive directors, and purchasing managers.
  • Understand the specific needs and challenges of each facility and tailor sales presentations and quotes accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries promptly and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to effectively position our products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences, market trends, and product improvements.
  • Follow up with customer on quotes provided, leads from tradeshows and events, and previous customer base to generate sales.
  • Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies to provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.
  • Become an expert on all Holsag products and the other Mity Inc products that are applicable to the customers this role services.
  • Become efficient working with the CRM and operating system and maintain thorough, accurate and organized records.
  • Consistently look at ways to add value and continuous improvements for Mity Inc
  • Take ownership in growing and developing personally and professionally.
  • Use the 5 Mission standards and best practices in their daily performance, showing results in:
  • Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years’ experience in a customer-facing and/or account management role, Sales experience in a manufacturing environment would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen. Ability to navigate information and data to make informed business decisions and recommendations (ie. prioritization of accounts, effective allocation of resources against opportunities).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and passport, and be able to travel within Canada and the US if necessary
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products
  • Post-Secondary education in relevant discipline (Business, Sales, Marketing) considered an asset.
  • Senior Living/ Healthcare experience or knowledge a plus
