Due' Cucina Italiana is looking for a Kitchen Shift Lead to join our team at our soon to be opening Redmond location! The restaurant is located at 16595 Redmond Way, suite 100, Redmond, WA 98052 .

  • Competitive compensation, based on experience $25.75-$28.75/hour (base wage of $20.25-$23.25/hour plus an additional $5.00-$5.50/hour in tips for a combined wage range of $25.75-$28.75/hour).

In this role, the Kitchen Shift Lead will:

  • Lead the Back of House (BOH) team during a given shift, driving product quality, kitchen timelines, system adherence, and food safety.
  • Ensure Kitchen timelines are met and manage the guest experience as it pertains to the Back of House staff and, when necessary, Front of House.
  • Monitor food waste, ordering and inventory levels.
  • Know and comply consistently with our standard recipes, portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen procedures.
  • Resolve any food quality issues that arise.
  • Ensure that the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; making sure malfunctioning equipment is repaired as quickly as possible.
  • Ensure that the kitchen itself and all team members meet the necessary guidelines to ensure there are no injuries.
  • Be familiar with and able to perform all kitchen positions.
  • Assist with training new employees.

  • Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable bending, reaching, and moving quickly.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus.
  • Must have 2+ years kitchen management experience in a full service, moderate to high volume restaurant.
  • Scheduling flexibility.
