Team Overview

Position Overview
As a member of the Annalect Data Science team, you will work with client team strategists and media buyers to build insightful solutions that shape the strategic direction of your client’s marketing plans through data-driven insights. You will work with the rest of the data science team to build new utilities, improve existing solutions and explore a wide variety of datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead exploration and experimentation with a large number of datasets to draw insights and search for client specific as well as general solutions.
- Work with and combine data from multiple event-based media sources (ad servers, DSPs and tag management solutions) and user-based files (client customer data, panel data, 3rd party datasets) warehoused on multiple platforms (AWS Redshift, AWS Athena, and Google Cloud Platform).
- Uncover audience insights for clients.
- Guide non-technical stakeholders in choosing the right analysis to answer open-ended questions.
- Independently formulate and execute an analytics plan; iteratively build on client feedback to get to a satisfactory answer.
- Translate quantitative results back into actionable insights and interesting storytelling.
- Hands-on machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Build and maintain tools to process, visualize and analyze data.
- Deploy scalable solutions to cloud-based infrastructure.
- Assist with audience segmentation and machine learning via our proprietary marketing and insights platform.
- Develop data insights across a variety of client products.
- Evaluate new data and tools; quickly learn to navigate new platforms; extract, transform, and load data from various partner cloud storage solutions.
- Document and share knowledge with a wide variety of Annalect and Omnicom teams.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences or business/marketing related fields. Advanced quantitative degree or intensive bootcamp experience is preferred.
- Must have hands-on expertise in Python, SQL proficiency preferred as well.
- Experience with cloud computing such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform and others.
- Experience leading and directing data scientist efforts.
- Experience managing data scientists, preferably in a media environment.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$101,500—$145,000 USD
