Job Title: Senior Investment Manager

Job Summary: The Senior Investment Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing investment portfolios to achieve optimal returns and meet financial goals. This role involves developing investment strategies, conducting market analysis, and making high-level investment decisions to drive portfolio performance.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement investment strategies and portfolio management approaches to achieve organizational or client investment objectives.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis on market trends, economic conditions, and investment opportunities to inform decision-making.
  3. Manage and optimize investment portfolios, including asset allocation, security selection, and risk management.
  4. Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, preparing detailed reports and providing strategic recommendations to senior management or clients.
  5. Collaborate with investment teams and analysts to ensure alignment of investment strategies with overall goals and objectives.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with external investment managers, brokers, and advisors to support investment activities.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, investment policies, and internal procedures.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and emerging investment opportunities to enhance portfolio management strategies.
  9. Lead and mentor junior investment staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  10. Present investment strategies, performance reports, and market insights to senior executives and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  2. Extensive experience in investment management, including senior roles and portfolio oversight.
  3. Strong understanding of investment principles, asset allocation, and risk management.
  4. Proven ability to develop and implement effective investment strategies and manage complex portfolios.
  5. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and portfolio management software.
  7. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  8. Effective communication and presentation skills for interacting with senior executives, clients, and stakeholders.
  9. Relevant certifications (e.g., Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA)) are a plus.
