We are seeking an Associate Director to lead a designated clinical team, while continuing to actively participate in direct patient care. Our centrally located Chicago office is nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of North Center, not to mention the social events hosted on our fully furnished rooftop!

What You'll Do:

  • Assist Program Directors and Senior Director in overseeing quality of care in the Adolescent program
  • Guide the development and implementation of program material and curriculum in both PHP & IOP across Adolescent programs
  • Actively engage in Adolescent program improvements, new development and expansion
  • Supervise and manage staff working within program, specifically group therapists across Adolescent programs
  • Ensure that all Adolescent program activities are aligned with Compass values and mission statement
  • Coordinate supplemental therapeutic activities for the Adolescent program
  • Act as a resource for community partners, potential intakes, and other stakeholders
  • Provide clinical supervision for staff working toward licensure
  • Provide group and individual therapy for Adolescent patients, as needed
  • Act as Primary Clinical therapist for 5-8 patients in Adolescent programs
  • Oversee program and group therapist scheduling
  • Complete initial intake evaluation to determine diagnosis and appropriateness of program
  • Develop, lead, and participate in professional development activities

Who You Are:

  • Licensed Doctorate Level Psychologist or Master’s level clinician with clinical experience leading group, individual, and family therapy
  • Knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other empirically supported treatments
  • Experience with patients in crisis
  • Program development and implementation experience
  • Experience running Adolescent groups and ability to lead training of Adolescent group therapists
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and changing environment
