Job Requirements / Description

Director of Finance (MSI TEC, Inc.), Centennial, CO): Is part of the company’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in implementing financial strategies to facilitate managing the company through high growth; Establishes and manages the financial aspects of the company’s operations, supervising and overseeing financial controls such as segregation of duties, procedures, and policies, overseeing and engaging in risk analysis, and managing company assets; Oversees company tax returns and liaises with auditors regarding accounting policies and tax compliance, with a focus on budget analysis, profitability, expense reduction and control, and complying with financial statutory regulations; Provides effective and accurate financial information to ELT/Board of Directors and ensures that accounting and other records are maintained in compliance with GAAP and other statutory requirements; Creates and maintains ERP documentation and process flows, while troubleshooting and solving business processes and operational issues; Plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy; and Acts as first point of contact on legal matters and disputes, as well as all customer and vendor contract documents.

Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience with finance, accounting, reporting, and control in the technology and manufacturing industries; Understands and interprets Agreements/contracts in the industrial technology business industry, specifically with regards to transactions related to value-added services, SaaS and engineering services and its revenue recognition impact; Manage varied financial relationships and requirements for multiple vendors and customers based on project needs and requirements.
Including billing, deposit, product flow, and cashflow management timing of all related time lines that go into an industrial automation project; Understanding the impact of customer life cycles and vendor management lifecycle and impacts on the planning of resources and staffing requirements to meet changing customer needs and supply chains; Understanding the impact of customer NDA’s and trickle-down impact into other NDAs with suppliers and other outside resources; and Understand cities/municipalities, Colorado, and Federal Labor and employment laws to be able to set policies and procedures with these laws for pay practices, harassment and discrimination, leave of absence policies, safety and security.
Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance or a closely-related field, and at least two (2) years of experience in a Finance position or a related occupation.
Option to work from home is available.
Salary: $180,000
- $200,000.
