Key Responsibilities
- Design Medium and Low Voltage power distribution systems for high-impact industrial sectors like Iron and Steel, Mining, and Chemical Processing.
- Create and develop electrical power, instrumentation, and control system plans, including drawing packages and project specifications.
- Craft detailed designs-electrical layouts, power single lines, conduit/cable tray routings, lighting, grounding, panel layouts, and more.
- Perform essential electrical calculations such as voltage drop, cable, and raceway sizing.
- Review and verify critical design calculations, systems, and equipment specs to ensure everything is up to code.
- Collaborate in client meetings and represent the electrical engineering team in supplier and design review sessions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years of professional Electrical Engineering experience, including exposure to instrumentation and controls.
- Expertise in designing power distribution systems (480V to 69KV), MV and LV switchgear, and motor control centers in heavy industrial environments.
- Hands-on experience with low-voltage power distribution, standby power systems, and electrical power studies like load flow and arc flash.
