Volunteer Project Management Consultant for The Healthcare Navigation Project
The Healthcare Navigation Project is seeking skilled volunteer support through Taproot Plus. Taproot Plus is an online platform that connects nonprofits to professionals seeking strong opportunities to volunteer their talent for good. All Taproot Plus projects are vetted, and once The Healthcare Navigation Project selects a volunteer applicant, Taproot Plus will provide resources and support to help make the project a success.
About This Organization
The Healthcare Navigation Project is an independent 501(c)(3) intentionally designed to disrupt our complex healthcare system with a health literacy and mental health life-skills program for ALL youth transitioning to adult care (HCT). This includes rare or chronic disease, underserved communities, or those with educational disabilities.
Project Management - Volunteer Coordination Process Set Up
We are a grassroots growing nonprofit in search of a Volunteer Coordinator to help us manage and coordinate which volunteers have what skills and where best to place them, as well as helping us attract volunteers through Taproot to fill in the gaps for our current and future projects.
We are here to support you in whatever goals you have, and you will work closely with our Founder and Executive Director. Right now, we have no one in this important role. We have set up Monday.com and are starting to have our volunteers fill it out. We have a great group of volunteers, mostly from Taproot, and we are all passionate about our mission to give all people the health literacy and self-advocacy skills they need to navigate our complex healthcare system.
This project can be done remotely.
