Requirements
Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a Software Engineer III (Cybersecurity) to support a DoD project. This position is contingent upon contract award. Requirements for the position include:
- Ten (10) years with a Master's or 14 years with a Bachelor's degree of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance within an application area. Individual shall have experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.
- Three (3) years of technical experience in support of systems engineering or systems administration within an enterprise hosting environment in the cloud in support of multiple interconnected systems and enterprise managed services. Individual shall have notable experience supervising and/or mentoring of lesser experienced personnel.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems).
Required Certifications:
- Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification.
- CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
- IEEE CS Software Development Professional or a vendor/platform specific certification such as:
- Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA),
- Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP) role-based certifications,
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP),
- Citrix Certified Administrator,
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Architect, Developer, SysOps Professional, or other certifications relevant to the role.
- Individual shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level II or III.
