Ford Credit is experiencing significant business transformation in an ever-changing digital world. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager , Data Orchestration Platform who will help to unlock the power of our data orchestration platform.

REMOTE : We’re looking for the best talent no matter where you are in the United States. This person will need to work EST hours and there is expected travel to the Dearborn, MI area approximately one week, 6 times per year.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the Data Orchestration Platform, aligned with the company's overall modernization strategy and business objectives.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into detailed product specifications.
  4. Deeply understand the intricate data orchestration landscape and business processes.
  5. Champion a narrative-driven approach to product development, clearly communicating features and functionalities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Lead and drive narrative and event storming sessions with cross-functional teams.
  7. Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and sound implementation of product features.
  8. Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
  9. Communicate effectively with senior leadership, stakeholders, and team members.
  10. Create well-defined features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  11. Refine features and stories, participate in standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives.

What we’re looking for:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education.
  2. 12+ years’ experience working with customer, marketing, and financial data.
  3. Strong understanding of GraphQL, Apollo Client/Server/Studio, and related technologies.
  4. Experience in building data orchestration platforms.
  5. Experience in API Security and gateway.
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. Ability to break down complex tasks into simpler, manageable tasks.
  11. Familiarity with RBAC, ReBAC, and ABAC Concepts for API Security is a plus.
