The Quality Assurance Manager – ISO is a high visibility leadership position within Super Radiator Coils that has a direct impact on growing our business. This person oversees our ISO program that covers a wide range of custom commercial products. This position reports to the Vice President – Chaska, MN Division. As a growing organization we are committed to leading and managing through effective quality management systems. The Quality Assurance Manager – ISO will continuously work to improve our ISO quality program by identifying opportunities for improvement, developing quality work instructions, and implementing ways to meaningfully connect all team members to our quality program. This position will partner with our sales/engineering, design, purchasing and production departments to promote a quality culture where everyone is involved resulting in products that are produced to the highest quality standards. The Quality Assurance Manager values leadership development, personal involvement, and promotes quality at all levels. They close the loop on issues, communicate effectively and create a true quality culture that expresses through our values.
Major Responsibilities:
• Lead/develop the ISO program.
• Build a quality organization via staffing and systems.
• Evaluate and standardize quality related KPI’s, corresponding data and
reporting.
• Utilize root cause analysis and corrective action programs to systematically
investigate quality or other production metrics, such as warranty and rework dollars. Attack the main drivers of these costs through pareto analysis.
• Communicate quality information to all employees in a simple, engaging, easy to understand format.
• Create a quality culture by involving everyone and enthusiastically promoting the importance of quality through our values.
• Partner, support, interact with peer departments.
• Demonstrate excellence by leading through example.
• Lead third-party audits.
• Lead quality projects through strong project management skills.
• Support and promote leadership development in individuals.
Qualifications:
• BS in engineering or science discipline.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience leading a quality program.
• Experience in metal fabrication and make-to-order manufacturing a plus.
• History of success in small to mid-sized manufacturing companies.
