They are looking for a skilled Production Manager with a background in fine jewelry to oversee the production process and ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of jewelry manufacturing techniques.


Job Title: Production Manager

Location: New York, New York


Salary: Up to $120,000


Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the production process for fine jewelry, from sourcing materials, identifying suppliers, reviewing CADs to final product delivery.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and production targets.
  • Oversee quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and product excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with design, sales, and marketing teams to translate creative concepts into viable production plans.
  • Optimize production workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs while upholding quality standards.
  • Train and supervise production staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate inventory replenishment as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and techniques to inform production decisions and innovations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of production facilities to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production management role within the fine jewelry industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and craftsmanship excellence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Gemology, Jewelry Design, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
