This is a hybrid-remote role open to applicants who reside in Michigan
Job Duties and Responsibilities: The main responsibilities are:
- As a Cloud Architect, youll be responsible to provide technical oversight for all new and
- existing SaaS implementations.
- The SaaS solutions include ERP and CRM applications using Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Salesforce.
- Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Participate in vendors solution design sessions for client projects providing design
- Work with the customer and end users to define technical requirements for new projects
- Lead Technical workshops and design sessions with the Customer.
- Propose/Articulate design/architecture options with pros/cons
- Ensure that the technical requirements tie back to the established customer requirements
- Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments of the
- Review technical architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and
- Has overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments
- Compile internal development guidelines/standards for the development team and ensure
- Provide oversight on QA efforts to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Ensures the proposed solutions adhere to SOM security guidelines and standards
- Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and an ability to
- Devise a D365FO and Salesforce training plan for the development team for a smooth
- Technical leadership, to include coaching and mentoring, setting best practices including
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ensure the proposed solutions fit in the overall architecture and business logic of
- Aligns the RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion/Data Migration, Extensions)
- Review the technical design proposed by the vendor for all RICEW components.
- Have a deep understanding of the D365 F&O technology stack and the peripheral
- Strong knowledge and working experience on Service Cloud
- Participation in each phase of full Salesforce.com lifecycle implementations
- In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce
- Strong technical foundation: advanced structured programming (APEX, Force.com, .Net,
- Demonstrates successful implementation of Batch Apex and/or Schedule Apex
- Understands web services and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an
- Ownership of all End-to-End technical aspects of a Salesforce.com program: data
- Define, communicate, and manage technical change management (e.g., release) processes
- Assess Salesforce.com architecture and provide secure, high-performance technical
- Design and document technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and
- CICD/Release Management
- Identification of risks and issues from technical perspective.
- The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work under dynamic conditions and within deadlines.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations with Enterprise clients and at least 4+ years of experience with Dynamics CRM.
- Minimum 5+ years experience leading Enterprise Salesforce implementation
- Minimum of two full lifecycle CRM or ERP implementations leading a technical workstream such as integration, data conversion or extension development.
- Good understanding of LCS (Life Cycle Services) and Azure DevOps.
- Experience in other technologies such as SQL, PowerBI along with good knowledge C# and the .Net framework.
- Knowledge of end-to-end D365FO implementation and D365FO interfacing and integration.
- Experience with D365FO interfacing and integration.
- Demonstrated experience with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations in the
- following technical areas:
- Data Management Framework (aka DIXF).
- PowerApps, LogicApps, Common Data Service and other Azure Services
- Understanding of Synchronous and Asynchronous integration patterns.
- Extension approach to customization versus overlayering.
- Role-based security design and customization.
- Extensible Data Security.
- Report development and Power BI.
- Code build and deployment via Visual Studio Team Services and LifeCycle
- Services.
- Understanding of Azure Licensing and Costing is a Plus.
- Good understanding of functional capabilities of D365FO:
- Financials
- Inventory Management
- Sales & Purchasing
