Apple Roofing and St. Raphael Roofing are seeking Roofing Consultants who can provide homeowners with a rock star experience. An ideal candidate will have a good understanding of their local market. He/she will need to navigate the sales cycle while acquiring homeowners' trust and business. An excellent candidate can service the customers wants and needs while maintaining a high level of communication and organization. He/she will understand quality control and instruct subcontractors in regards to tasks that need to be completed, ensuring all workmanship is done to our high standards. Overall, this role is focused on bringing opportunities to the company.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify opportunities
- Document sales by creating and updating customer records in CRM
- Source and develop client referrals
- Prepare sales action plans and strategies
- Maintain customer database
- Make sales calls to new and existing clients
- Make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
- Develop sales proposals
- Prepare and present sales contracts
- Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, email or in person
- Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
- Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
- Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in the roofing industry (3+ years)
- Previous sales experience (3+ years)
- Roofing system experience including shingle, metal and tile systems
This role requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. In addition, Roofing Consultants:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
- Must be able to walk long distances
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, humid and/or rainy weather conditions
