Accompany the physician during patient visits to document history, exam, imaging review, diagnosis, and treatment plan. Create complete patient notes for physician review daily. A cutting-edge AI-enabled system will assist you in conjunction with AthenaHealth’s EMR. Coordinate with our nurse to ensure billing codes are comprehensive and posted in a timely fashion. Manage Imaging and Lab reports and Medical Records Requests. Support the physician with administrative tasks. Coordinate physician scheduling of non-patient visits. Join the rest of the team to support each other.
This position is ideal for pre-med students or those interested in pursuing a career as a nurse, physician assistant, or other healthcare provider or a graduate degree in medical sciences. It will include exposure to orthopaedic research, clinical studies, and cutting-edge procedures.
What You Get:
Compensation: $25/hour - $28/hour, commensurate with experience

Minimum Requirements:
- Comfort working with EMR (Athena Health a plus)
- Billing knowledge (CPT ICD9)
- Type a minimum of 80 WPM
- Ability to multi-task
