Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Land Surveyor at BDS Engineering, Inc. in La Mesa, CA. The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine precise locations and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapmaking, land division, and other purposes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in surveying techniques, equipment, and software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and GPS
• Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, practices, and regulations
• Ability to interpret construction plans, maps, and legal descriptions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in surveying work
• Good physical condition and outdoor work endurance
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Must have a current California Driver's license.
• Must have a clean record and be able to pass Live Scan
• Must have a minimum of 3 Years of field surveying experience
• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field is preferred
• Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) certification is preferred
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License is preferred
