Travel Nurse RN - ER/Trauma in Chandler, AZ

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of recent ER/Trauma Level 1 experience required
**License:** Required to submit a valid RN license
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
**Must-Have:** COVID vaccine documentation or medical exemption from a doctor
**Job Description:**
- Flexible work schedule with varying start times: 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m.
- Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule period.
- Requirement to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the holiday season.
- Ability to float between different ER locations within close proximity.
- Pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving an offer, with a maximum of 2 attempts.
- Pass/fail Sim Lab on the first day of orientation.
- Work in a 60-bed ER, with 14 designated for fast-track and bedside triage.
- Patient ratio of 1:3-4 with support from charge nurses, paramedics, and CNAs.
- Provide care for a variety of cases, including trauma, MVAs, GSW, strokes, MIs, high-risk OB, and cardioversions.
- Handle psych holds of 4-6 patients per day until transferred, with an 11% pediatric population.
- The facility is a certified stroke and chest pain center with approximately 80,000 visits per year.
- Utilize Cerner for charting.
